This policy explains how Alpinyx Woodcraft Sdn. Bhd. (“Alpinyx”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through alpinyx.pro and in the course of our furniture business. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. Data we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, the project type you select and the description of your project. If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we keep the correspondence and any drawings or photographs you share. Our hosting provider also records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations;
- To schedule site measurements, deliveries and installations;
- To honour warranties, which requires keeping project records;
- To maintain basic accounting and tax records required by Malaysian law;
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this website.
3. What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not send marketing messages unless you have expressly asked to receive them, and any such message will include a straightforward way to opt out.
4. Sharing with third parties
Your data is shared only where the work requires it: with our delivery and installation crew (your address and contact number), with subcontracted transport providers for deliveries outside the Klang Valley, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law obliges us. Each recipient receives only what they need for their task.
5. Retention
Enquiry records that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project records, including your contact details and drawings, are kept for the duration of your warranty plus one year, after which they are archived or destroyed. Accounting records are retained for seven years as required by the Income Tax Act 1967.
6. Security
Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it. Our website transmits data over HTTPS, and project files are stored on access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate measures to protect what you entrust to us.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to its processing (which may limit our ability to serve you). Write to [email protected] or to our registered address and we will respond within 21 days.

9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
